Airdale & Ferry Fryston by election in Wakefield

BNP vote halved and pushed back into third place
The Airdale & Ferry Fryston by election on January 21st in Wakefield saw the BNP vote reduced from 628 in 2008 to 353 this time round. The BNP was also pushed back into third place behind the victorious Labour candidate on 1330 votes and the Liberal Democrat runner up on 603 votes.
