BNP defeated in Harrogate by election
The fascist BNP failed to break the 10% barrier in a council by-election in Bilton Ward in Harrogate on Thursday 19th February thanks in part to
counter-leafletting by local UAF supporters, and despite recent attempt by the fascists to establish themselves in North Yorkshire in the run up to the European elections.

Sharon Bentley Con 673 (37.6%)
Steven Gill BNP 164 (9.2%)
Andrew Gray Lab 51 (2.8%)
