Unite to Stop the BNP in Morley
Saturday, 4th November from 11am-1pm
Starting at Morley Town Hall, LS27 9DY
July saw the start of Unite Against Fascism’s campaign to prevent any more BNP candidates being elected in Leeds. We have already had two successful weekend events to publicise the campaign and have had a good response from the public.
To help ensure we get the anti fascist message across to as many people as possible we would ask you to circulate this message to anyone you think would be interested in supporting the campaign.
Background
Despite the BNP winning the Morley South council seat in the recent local elections the overwhelming majority of Morley voters rejected the BNP in 2006.
In the May local election the percentage of the total electoral vote won by the BNP was as follows:
Morley North 8.52% and in Morley South 12.85%
